Frequently asked questions
Is the Reign or Enduro better?
Both are serious long-travel enduro bikes built to descend hard while still climbing under their own power. The Reign is usually keener on price; the Enduro is the premium platform. Pick on budget, fit and dealer preference.
Are these overkill for normal trails?
For general UK trail-centre riding, yes, a trail bike with less travel is more fun and efficient. Buy a Reign or Enduro only if you ride steep, rough descents, uplift days or enduro races often enough to justify the travel.
What should I check used?
Enduro bikes get ridden hard, so inspect the frame, pivots and rear shock carefully and ask about recent servicing. Budget for tyres and brake pads, and run the frame number through a stolen-bike check.
