How much does it cost to list?
Listing is free during our launch. Standard pricing (a flat fee, tiered by your asking price, shown in the listing wizard before you publish) resumes after launch.
Are there any other fees beyond the listing fee?
For private classified sales during our launch, nothing, listing is free. For Buyer Protection sales, coming soon, the platform will keep a small percent of the sale price to cover Stripe escrow, courier insurance and dispute resolution; this will be shown at checkout.
How do seller payouts work?
For classified sales, the buyer pays you directly, and listing is free during our launch. For Buyer Protection sales, coming soon, Stripe will release payment to your connected Stripe account once the buyer confirms the bike matches.
How are fees structured?
Private classified sales are free to list during our launch (standard pricing, a flat listing fee tiered by asking price and shown before you publish, resumes after launch). For Buyer Protection sales, coming soon, the platform will keep a small percent of the sale price to cover escrow and dispute resolution; this will be shown at checkout before either side commits.
What is the listing-fee refund policy?
Listing is free during our launch, so there is no listing fee to refund. (Standard listing fees, when they resume, are non-refundable once the listing is published.) When Buyer Protection launches, its fees will be refundable if a dispute is upheld, and buyer fees on classified sales will be refundable up to 14 days after sale completion in limited cases.
What payment methods do you accept?
Today, buyers and sellers arrange payment directly, usually cash or bank transfer on collection. When Buyer Protection checkout launches, it will accept card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna and Clearpay on eligible purchases.
Do you accept Cycle to Work scheme vouchers?
Yes, Cyclescheme, Bike2Work and Green Commute Initiative are all supported. Voucher redemption is currently manual via support; we are working on automated voucher checkout for 2026.
Can I finance a used bike?
When Buyer Protection checkout launches, Klarna and Clearpay will be available on eligible purchases (typically over £100, subject to their own approval). Cycle to Work covers up to £3,000 interest-free through your employer. We do not offer finance directly.
