Nearly-new bikes are the sweet spot of the used market: minimal wear, often only a few rides on the clock, but at a meaningful discount on the new RRP. The "Excellent" condition rating on Cyclesite indicates a bike with no notable cosmetic or mechanical issues, well-maintained, and ready to ride.

Every listing with a frame number has been checked against a stolen-bike registry and rider-filed theft reports before going live.
On Cyclesite, "nearly new" maps to bikes in Excellent condition: minimal wear, no notable cosmetic or mechanical issues, full functionality. Many were ridden only a handful of times before the seller upgraded or changed direction.

Original manufacturer warranties are usually non-transferable, so most private nearly-new bikes won’t carry the original warranty. Bikes sold by dealers may include a shop warranty: check the listing description. Cyclesite does not provide a separate platform warranty.
Look at the drivetrain: chain, cassette and chainrings should show minimal wear. Check the brake pads, tyre tread, and any contact points (saddle, grips, bar tape). The seller should be willing to share recent clear photos and answer questions about how often the bike was ridden.
