The Trek Domane AL 3 Disc is an endurance road bike built on Trek's lightweight 100 Series Alpha aluminium frame with a carbon fork, and relaxed endurance geometry that stays comfortable and stable over long days in the saddle. It runs an 18-speed Shimano Sora drivetrain with a compact chainset for a wide, climbing-friendly gear range, and disc brakes for confident stopping in all weather. This one is a 56cm frame in white, in good condition with only around 200km on the clock. It rolls happily from longer road loops onto light gravel trails. A sturdy lock and a spare pair of tyres are included with the sale. This is NOT a standard VanMoof S3 ⭐ The original VanMoof electronic e-shifter has been professionally replaced with a Sturmey Archer automatic 2-speed hub, eliminating the biggest reliability issue these bikes are known for. If you’ve been researching VanMoof S3s, you’ll know exactly why this is such a desirable upgrade. ⸻ VanMoof S3 – 3,311 Miles – US Mode – Upgraded For sale is my much-loved VanMoof S3, which I’ve owned and ridden almost daily for the past four years. This bike has been carefully upgraded over time to improve its reliability, comfort, braking, practicality and security, whilst retaining everything that makes the S3 such an enjoyable bike to ride. The bike has covered 3,311 miles and has been a fantastic commuter. ⸻ Upgrades & Features ✔ US Mode enabled (assists up to approximately 32 km/h / 20 mph) ✔ Sturmey Archer automatic 2-speed hub conversion ✔ Upgraded front drilled/slotted brake rotor ✔ Schwalbe Big Ben tyres ✔ Alloy platform pedals ✔ Genuine VanMoof rear carrier ✔ Genuine ABUS D-lock with genuine frame-mounted holder ✔ Hidden Apple AirTag mounted beneath the saddle (removed from my Apple ID, reset and transferred to the new owner) ✔ Original VanMoof charger included ✔ FREE pannier bag ✔ FREE handlebar-mounted mobile phone holder ⸻ Important Information The original electronic e-shifter has been removed as part of the Sturmey Archer hub conversion. As a result, the bike displays Error 44 when switched on. This is completely normal and simply indicates that the original e-shifter is no longer connected. It does not affect the way the bike rides or the operation of the Sturmey Archer automatic hub. The original e-shifter is not included. ⸻ Condition This bike has been used exactly as intended and has been my daily commuter for the last four years. As you would expect, it has a number of cosmetic scratches and scuffs from everyday use. The cosmetic marks are entirely consistent with a bike that has been ridden and enjoyed rather than stored away. Mechanically, it has been well maintained and thoughtfully upgraded throughout my ownership. ⸻ Sticker Finish (Anti-Theft) The frame has been covered with high-quality vinyl stickers over the years. This wasn’t just for appearance. Living and commuting in London, I wanted the bike to be instantly recognisable and far less attractive to thieves. A unique-looking bike is significantly harder to resell than a standard VanMoof, making it a far less desirable target for theft. Think of them as anti-theft stickers rather than decoration. If preferred, the stickers can be removed by the new owner. ⸻ Test Ride I’m more than happy for genuine buyers to take the bike for a test ride. I simply ask that you leave the full asking price as a refundable deposit while you’re out riding the bike. ⸻ Included in the Sale * Original VanMoof charger * Genuine VanMoof rear carrier * Genuine ABUS D-lock * Genuine ABUS frame-mounted D-lock holder * Hidden Apple AirTag (reset and transferred to the new owner) * FREE pannier bag * FREE handlebar-mounted mobile phone holder ⸻ Final Note If you’re looking for a VanMoof S3 that has already had its biggest reliability weakness addressed, this is an excellent example. I’ll genuinely be sad to see it go, but it’s time for my next project. I hope it goes to someone who appreciates everything that makes the S3 such a special bike—and the upgrades that make this one even better.

It has the Record 10 - the pinnacle of mechanical shifting. It's probably only been ridden around 400 miles in the dry, kept clean and never crashed. Has spent many years stored under the stairs. The forks look like they were bought yesterday, not 23 years ago. The groupset and wheels are in exceptional condition.
