What to include in a stolen-bike report
- The bike's frame number (under the bottom bracket).
- Brand, model, year, colour and any distinguishing features.
- Where and when the bike was last seen.
- Photographs, original receipt, stolen-bike registry ID if any.
- The crime reference number once issued (keep this safe).
Once you've filed a police report, also add the bike to Cyclesite's stolen registry so any future listing of it is automatically blocked from going live.
