A Cannondale CAAD5 R600 aluminum road bike in good overall condition, featuring a classic black finish with silver and red decals. The bike is equipped with ITM cockpit components, rim brakes, a double chainring drivetrain, and lightweight alloy wheels. Some minor signs of use are visible on the components and frame, but the bike presents well overall with no significant damage noted.
This was bought back in 2010 from a semi-professional triatelete. I competed in a few triathlons and open water swims before throwing in the towel.
Used once or twice a year for a cycle on a nice summers day.
To me, bike is ready to ride apart from the handle grips could do with replacing as they are flaking. New tyres wouldnt go a miss but could be used.
Upgraded carbon fiber on most parts...I am not a bike enthusiast so from what I can see the general spec is;
Shimano ultegra 2x9
Ultegra brakes
Upgraded ITM carbon fiber forks
Upgraded ITM carbon fiber handle bars
Upgraded Full Speed Ahead carbon fiber pedal crank/arms
Upgraded Full Speed Ahead carbon fiber seat post
Mavic Aksium Race wheels
Bike has also been dry stored and in good condition for age.

FAQs
How are sold bike prices determined?
These are actual transaction prices from completed sales. Not what sellers asked for, not estimates: what buyers actually paid. The difference matters when you are trying to price your own bike or spot a deal.
How often is the price data updated?
Every sale feeds into the database as it happens. Statistics and market indices get recalculated monthly. The data reflects current conditions, not last year’s market.
Can I use this data to price my bike?
That is exactly what it is for. Find bikes matching yours (same brand, model, year, condition) and see what they sold for. Price yours accordingly. Overpriced bikes sit for months. Properly priced bikes sell within weeks.
Why do similar bikes sell for different prices?
Condition explains most of it. A well-maintained bike with service history beats a neglected one every time. Location matters, with London prices running higher. Timing matters, with spring bringing more buyers. Included accessories shift value. Seller motivation affects negotiation.
What is the difference between sold prices and asking prices?
Asking prices are wishful thinking. Sold prices are reality. Most bikes sell below asking price after negotiation. Our data shows what actually changed hands, which is far more useful when deciding what something is worth.
