About this club
Sunday club social rides usually start at 9.00am from 1 of 3 places which are Pontefract Buttercross (in the town centre), Brotherton or Rabbit Ings Car Park. This information will be communicated through our facebook page a few days beforehand along with a summary of the ride. Rides range from between 30 and 70 miles but generally average 35-50 miles with an average speed of 11-13mph. We usually have 2 cafe stops, mid morning and lunchtime and maybe a 3rd stop on a longer ride. We do not insist that members ride the whole ride they can dip in and out as they wish e.g. ride with the group to the first stop and return at that point.
