The Addict has historically been one of the lightest production road bikes available, and it continues to push boundaries in frame weight. Scott uses their HMX and HMF carbon layups to achieve remarkable stiffness to weight ratios. Pre-2020 models are showing their age in terms of integration and cable routing. For the best value, a 2021 or 2022 RC 20 with Shimano Ultegra is a strong choice.
