Canyon Endurace market data, updated as new sales are recorded
The Endurace is Canyon's endurance road bike and it directly competes with the Trek Domane and Specialized Roubaix. It takes the same direct to consumer value proposition that makes the Ultimate so popular and applies it to a more comfortable, long distance focused frame. For UK riders who do sportives, audax, or simply enjoy long Sunday rides, the Endurace is a compelling option.
Canyon's approach to endurance is more subtle than some competitors. There is no suspension system or fancy decoupler. Instead, the Endurace uses a more compliant frame layup, relaxed geometry, and a split seatpost design (on CF SLX models) that flexes to absorb road vibration. It is a simpler, lighter solution that works well.
The Endurace is one of Canyon's best sellers in the UK and used examples are easy to find. Prices typically sit below equivalent Domane or Roubaix models, which makes it an attractive used buy for budget conscious riders.
Comfortable without being soft. The Endurace smooths rough roads enough that you can ride all day without getting beaten up, but it still responds when you push the pace. The geometry puts you in a slightly more upright position than the Ultimate, which takes pressure off your lower back and neck on longer rides.
The handling is stable and predictable. It tracks straight through crosswinds and holds its line on descents. It is not as sharp or playful as the Ultimate, but that is the point. The Endurace is built for steady, sustainable efforts over distance. On smooth roads it feels nearly as fast as a race bike. On rough roads it pulls ahead because you are not wasting energy fighting the surface.
Sportive riders, audax enthusiasts, and long distance cyclists. Anyone who rides regularly over 50 miles and wants comfort without sacrificing too much speed. Riders who want Canyon's value but find the Ultimate too aggressive. Also works well as a winter training bike or all year commuter for longer routes.
The current generation (2022 onwards) with the new frame shape is the best version yet. The previous generation (2019 to 2021) is still excellent and more affordable. Pre-2019 models lack some of the tyre clearance and cable routing improvements. For the best value, a 2022 CF SL 7 or CF SL 8 is hard to beat.
