2018 Carrera Vengeance

Right, here's my Carrera mountain bike that's been a solid companion for weekend trail rides and needs a new home. If you're after a reliable, no-nonsense MTB to get you off-road without breaking the bank, this one's worth a look. The aluminum frame keeps things light and stiff without the eye-watering price tag of carbon, and it's held up brilliantly with no dents, cracks, or corrosion to worry about. Up front you've got an SR Suntour XCM30 fork doing the work of soaking up bumps and roots, which for the price point this bike sits at, is a genuinely capable bit of kit and makes a real difference on rougher terrain. Kenda tires are fitted and still have decent tread left, giving you confident grip whether you're on loose gravel, muddy singletrack, or just commuting through the park. Condition-wise, I'd call it good rather than mint. It's been used regularly and looks like it, with a few scuffs and marks here and there from normal trail life, but mechanically everything works as it should. Gears shift cleanly, brakes are responsive, and there's nothing lurking that needs immediate attention. This is the kind of bike that's perfect if you're just getting into mountain biking and don't want to gamble a fortune on something untested, or if you need a dependable second bike for muddy days when you don't want to risk your best ride.
