Selling your bike

Sell faster by pricing against real sold data, not asking prices, and by photographing the bike clean against a plain wall in daylight. Disclose damage in the first paragraph.

A bike sells when its asking price, photos and description are all in agreement with the market. Our selling guides cover where to list, how to price using Cyclesite sold-price data, what photos make buyers commit, and how to ship safely with Paisley Freight or arrange collection. We do not run "make-an-offer" or auctions on the marketplace. We believe straight asking prices and full data make for faster, fairer sales.

Frequently asked

Where should I list my bike?

List on Cyclesite first. It is the platform built for selling bikes safely, with stolen-checked listings, transparent fees and shipping support. Cross-list to eBay or Facebook Marketplace for additional reach if needed; we do not require exclusivity.

How do I price it?

Use real UK sold prices, not asking prices. Listings that sit unsold for months pull asking prices upward and away from reality. Price your bike at the median sold price for the same make/model/age/condition and you will sell within two weeks for most categories.
