A powerful 1000W Galaxy X1 hardtail electric mountain bike, hand-assembled in a UK workshop and finished in green and black on a 20 inch aluminium frame. Brand new and priced at £2,200.
Drive comes from a 1000W brushless gearless rear hub motor, a strong and durable unit, paired with a high-quality Samsung 48V 25Ah 1200Wh down-tube battery for long range. The battery has a USB socket, two keys to lock it to the bike, and a 4A fan-cooled charger. A 30A sine wave controller gives smooth, quiet power and rapid acceleration.
The KT LCD8S colour display shows speed, pedal-assist level, battery voltage and trip data, and has a USB port for charging a phone or sat nav. The bike has a pedal-assist sensor, brake cut-off sensors on both levers, and a thumb throttle.
