## Description

Right, let's talk about this Carrera Vengeance — a cracking entry into mountain biking that's been a reliable trail companion and now needs a new home.

Finished in a striking red that still turns heads, this alloy-framed hardtail strikes the right balance between durability and value. Carrera built these to take a beating on fire roads, woodland trails, and the occasional canal towpath, and this one's held up exactly as you'd expect from solid engineering. The alloy frame means you get a stiff, efficient ride without the fragility concerns of carbon, which makes it ideal if you're still finding your feet off-road or just want a bike that shrugs off the odd knock.

Honesty time: this bike is in good condition, meaning it's been ridden and loved rather than left in a shed gathering dust. Expect some cosmetic wear consistent with regular trail use — scuffs on the frame, a bit of character picked up along the way — but mechanically it's sound and ready to ride. Everything shifts and brakes as it should, and it's had reasonable care rather than neglect.

If you're after a proper mountain bike that won't leave you nervous on technical descents or terrified of scratching it, this is worth a look. It's the sort of bike you can throw in the back of the car, head to the trails, and not worry about babying. Great for beginners cutting their teeth off-road or anyone wanting a dependable second bike for muddier adventures. Come take a look, give it a spin, see for yourself.
