## Description

Here's your Ridley X-Ride, a proper cyclocross-bred road machine finished in a head-turning yellow and black colourway that's going to get noticed on any club run. Ridley built their reputation in the cross scene, and that heritage shows through in the aluminum frame's confident handling and the carbon fork up front, which takes the edge off rougher Highland roads while keeping the bike feeling lively under power.

Running a SRAM groupset means crisp, reliable shifting that's easy to maintain and parts for are widely available if you ever need them, which is always reassuring for a bike you're planning to put serious miles on. The aluminum frame keeps things reasonably light without the fragility concerns some riders have with carbon, so you can lean it against a wall or sling it in the back of the car without losing sleep over it.

I'd call the condition good rather than mint. It's been ridden properly rather than sat in a shed, so there's some honest wear consistent with regular use, but everything works as it should and there's plenty of life left in it. This is a bike that's ready to be ridden hard, not a garage queen.

If you're after a versatile road bike with cyclocross DNA, solid components, and a bit of character in the colour department, this is well worth a look. Based in Inverness, happy to arrange a viewing or test ride for anyone local.
